Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital restricts visitors due to flu numbers

Due to the high number of flu cases in Southern Kentucky, Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital is restricting visitor access.

As of Wednesday afternoon, visitation is limited to immediate family members only.

Anyone with flu-like symptoms, including fever, cough or colds, will not be allowed.

Children under the age of 12 will also not be allowed to visit.

The hospital did not say when it expects to lift the visitor restrictions.
